EVALUATING THE IMPACT OF LEAN IMPLEMENTATION PRACTICES IN INDIAN MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY

In Modern Era, Lean Manufacturing raised to be all over the world. This study is a provisional that is implemented in an Indian Manufacturing industry. There are different methods to evaluate the LM in an Indian Manufacturing industry and questionnaire survey is one of them. The analysis was accomplished by thirty four Indian manufacturing industries. Selected defendant from those industries is committed to imbibe colossal Lean manufacturing practices. The final outcomes revealed that approximately all the finalized firms are distinguished as assessment on the way to Lean manufacturing practices. From the study it has been found that these industries have rewarded extra focus towards industries methods and management. Many industries revealed the issue to drive Lean manufacturing implementation including respondent attention and take initiatives to continuous improvement in the industries. Scarcity to recognize the Lean manufacturing concepts and lack of understanding about Lean techniques are the major issues to implement the Lean manufacturing system in the industries.
