Stakeholders’ perceptions and experiences of factors influencing the commissioning, delivery, and uptake of general health checks: a qualitative evidence synthesis

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (qualitative). The objectives are as follows: To identify, appraise, and synthesise qualitative studies that explore the perceptions and experiences of healthcare managers or policy‐makers, healthcare providers and clients with general health checks . To identify how stakeholders understand, name, describe, and experience influencing factors relevant to the commissioning, delivery and uptake of general health checks. To supplement and contextualise the findings and conclusions of the Cochrane effectiveness review on general health checks (Krogsbøll 2019), providing an enhanced understanding of why general health checks are widely available.
