Determination of residual acrylic acid in super absorbent polymer by HPLC

An analysing method of residual acrylic acid in super absorbent polymer by high performance liquid chromatography is described.The results proved that the method can exactly analyze residual acrylic acid in super absorbent polymer.The recovery is between 96.7%~101.3% and the relative standard deviation is 2.96%.The method can be used for controlling the quality of residual acrylic acid in super absorbent polymer.
