Objective: To study the effect of the modified Zuoguiyin on blood viscosity and artificial thrombi in mice Methods: The whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity and quality of the artificial thrombi were examined after the experimental animals receired the traditional Chinese medicine for 75 days Results: The above index increased with age, but those in the experimental group decreased compared with that of the control group of middle old age (P0 01) Conclusion: The traditional Chinese medicine, interfering factor modified Zuoguiyin, can improve blood circulation, increase activity, decrease the whole blood viscosity and plasma viscosity, and inhibit blood thrombus formation in the experimental animals
