Synthesis and apply of rosin series surfactants

The main synthesis methods of rosin type surfactants from rosin and its derivatives in home and abroad were summarized. Rosin type nonionic surfactants of rosin polyethylene oxide was combined with rosin and ethylene oxide.Rosin type anionic surfactants were prepared from rosin polyethyleneoxide and chlorosulfonic acid. Rosin type cationic surfactants were prepared from ethylene chlorohydrin and abietyl amine polyethylene oxide that was synthesized with abietyl amine and ethylene oxide.Rosin type amphoteric surfactants were prepared from chloroacetic acid and acylamine that was synthesized with rosin and diethylenetriamine.Rosin type surfactants were used widly as emulsifying agent,detergent,germicide,wetting agent,emulsion-viscosity reduction and so on. Some prospections are given for research work of resin type surfactants in future.
