Discrete element contact model of vibratory feeder and its research

The particulate discrete element method(DEM) is a new method of analysing the mechanical behavior of granular materials in various applications.The contact model is the basis of DEM,and dry granular model is currently used for simulation.According to the theory of DEM and the analysis of various granular models and their application to the vibratory feeder,the model proves applicable to the dry granular iron ore in the vibratory feeder,and it is simple and practical.
