摘要
High intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) is method of cancer therapy in which focused ultrasound is applied to, patients with tissue necrosis. However, temperature control is a difficult issue in ultrasound irradiation. To address this challenge ultrasound contrast agents (UCAs) that can be used to control the heating characteristics of ultrasound irradiation have been reported in the literature. In this study, a UCA was fabricated, and an optimum composition ratio offered an excellent heating effect was selected. In addition, heating effect of the UCA with optimum composition ratio was confirmed by changes in the ultrasound irradiation intensity.
