Reducing Microalbuminuria of Huangci in Diabetic Nephropathy

Objective: To observe the effect of Huangqi injection of reducing microalbuminuria in patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy. Methods:48 cases of type 2 diabetic nephropathy were divided into two groups,involved in a randomized control clinical trial. Control group total 24 cases were only given conventional diabetes treatment. In other group (treatment group,24 cases) 40mL of Huangqi was added to 250 mL NS for intravenous injection every day for four weeks. Results: After treatment the excreted albuminuria of patients in the treatment group significantly reduced with that before treatment. (P0.01).Conclusion: Huangqi injection is notably effective in reducing microalbuminuria for type 2 diabetic nephropathy.
