Some Features of the Evaporite Formation of Albania

Based on the relationship between hydrocarbon and evaporite, researchers today are so convinced that the discovery of evaporite in a sedimentation site has awakened the interest of research on them. In this case, evaporite role consists not only in the insulation abilities of the hydrocarbon collections due to the perfect compactness that they have in depth, but also to the formation of traps and in necrosis (erosion) of reservoir rocks. Various mineral salts of Na, K, sulfide minerals etc., are related to the evaporite (evaporation). The paper presents data on the composition; formation conditions and the importance of the exploration of evaporite formation of Albania. In the article are the main results of the present studies on the evaporite of Albania, to provide help to the domestic and foreign researchers and investors involved in the search for hydrocarbon and other useful minerals associated with evaporite formation in the country.
