摘要
In this article, we have designed a micromixer with multiple diamond-shaped units. The effect of the angle of the rhombus and the width ratio of the rhombus channel on mixing performance was investigated for the Reynolds number in the range of 0.5–100 using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). From the mixing index and pressure drop two objective functions starting from this, the performance of the micromixer with different structural parameters is analyzed. The results show that show that when α = 90°, the mixing performance of the mixer is better than that of α = 60°, indicating that a larger angle can improve the mixing performance of the micromixer. It is also obtained that the effect of the unbalanced splitting and recombination mixer is better than that of the balanced. When the channel width ratio is 1:4, the performance of the mixer is better than other width ratios (1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:2:3:4) micro mixer.
