摘要
An aerial Fire Control Radar controls the aiming, movement and fire of one or more guns on a flying target when they are spatially separated. To calculate the bearing and elevation angle of a gun, the radar needs to know the position of the gun in 3 Dimensional co-ordinates with respect to it's own position. This is carried out by pointing the gun barrel and radar track antenna towards each other i.e. aligning them and initiating the system during initial set up when both are in Line Of Sight of each other. Two new methodologies were adopted to align the radar antenna and gun barrel when in Non Line Of Sight. The methods and results obtained are presented in this paper.
