摘要
It is widely known that increasing flexible operation is the key factor for the reliability of future power systems with high penetration levels of variable renewable energy sources. In this work, enabling such power sources transition with flexible requirements will be analyzed for the development of photovoltaic (PV) electricity generation whose output power is intermittent due to non-uniform characteristics of incoming solar radiation and variable weather conditions, and assessed based on available storage alternatives particularly for the grid-connected and influences them onto the economical and environmental aspects concerning spread of PV throughout the World and Europe.
