Chemical vapour deposition (CVD) of conducting polymers: Polypyrrole

Electrically conducting polypyrrole, doped by iron(III) chloride, has been prepared by a dry, chemical vapour deposition (CVD) technique. The results of a variety of preliminary physical and chemical characterization studies indicate that CVD-prepared polypyrrole is very similar to that prepared by conventional wet (electro-)chemical techniques.
