NEW MATERIALS BASED ON CdS AND ZnS FOR PHOTOCATALYTIC HYDROGEN EVOLUTION AND CONVERSION OF VISIBLE LIGHT ENERGY TO ELECTRICITY

The photocatalysts Cd1-xZnxS and photoelectrodes Cd1-xZnxS/FTO were prepared. The addition of Zn(OH)2, Ni(OH)2, and NiS enhanced the target properties of the tested samples. The correlation between the photocatalytic activity and photoelectrochemical parameters was established.
