ABSTRACT The dual growth model is a significant characteristic of hidden champions and a key reason for their sustained competitive advantage. This work employs the dual growth model to develop a theoretical model of “dual growth model–value transfer–corporate performance.” The study results indicate that hidden champions employ a dual growth model that concurrently attains efficiency and product growth. It is found that these two factors significantly enhance the performance of the hidden champions. Moreover, the transfer of value acts as a mediating role in the expansion of products. That is the rise of efficiency and the performance of the hidden champions.
