摘要
This research aims at exploring the fused subaqueous concurrent localization and mapping with LiDAR sensing for enhanced immediate mapping for the underwater terrain. By integrating distance measurements from LiDAR and dynamic localization, this approach provides better accuracy and solution time in exploring submerged terrains like seafloors, aquatic vegetables and man-made structures. These technologies extend the capabilities of AUVs and ROVs with continuous and accurate mapping and navigation facilities especially in GPS dead-reckoning environments. This research has important possibilities for revolutionizing the collection of underwater data in many sectors such as oceanography, environmental protection, and resource management. The progress ion of these techniques will further the interests of industries through more efficient exploratory, preservation, and construction processes in aquatic contexts.
