Studies in Hodgkin's syndrome; the association of viral hepatitis and Hodgkin's disease; a preliminary report.

Summary Alterations in the clinical course of three patients with Hodgkin9s disease presumably due to the concomitant presence of viral hepatitis are described. A preliminary description of an attempt to influence the course of Hodgkin9s disease in 21 additional patients by the experimental induction of viral hepatitis is included. A number of hypotheses are advanced, one of which may account for the phenomena observed and may serve as a basis for further investigation.
