The Effectiveness of the Sequential Therapy by Levofloxacin Tosilate in Treating Community Acquired Pneumonia

Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of the sequential therapy by using Levofloxacin Tosilate in treating community acquired pneumonia. Method All of 67 community acquired pneumonia patients were treated by the method of intravenous drip of Levofloxacin Tosilate 200mg/d bid. They took the same medicine orally after their symptom was improved obviously.Results The total clinical effective rate was 95.5 %, and bacteria eliminating rate was 90.9 %, and the rate of adverse reaction on the drug was 4.4 %. Conclusion Levofloxacin Tosilate is an effective and safe antibacterial drug in treating community acquired pneumonia sequentially.
