Effects of scientific fertilization on yield and quality of persimmon and soil enzyme activity of rootregion were studied.The results indicate that scientific fertilization can significantly increase yield of persimmon,improve quality of fruits,raise soil nutrient content,and enhance soil enzyme activity.The soil enzyme activity of rootregion is various at different growth stages of persimmon,and dynamic variation of soil enzyme activity is:fruits expanding stagemature stageharvest stageflowers withering stagebudding stage.The soil enzyme activity is not inhibited by fertilization at all growth stages,showing that fertilization has not reached level at which soil enzyme activity reaches the maximum critical limits.Soil enzyme activity is remarkedly correlated with yield of persimmon,the first and second grade rate of fruits,and soil nutrient content.The soil enzyme activities are also remarkedly correlated with each other.
