In order to obtain the influence of injecting parameters on supersonic flame spraying particle velocity and temperature, Cu particles of 30 microns in diameter were used in HVOF condition for the KY - HVO (A) F spraying system. The results show that the particle injection location has little influence on particle velocity, but has much on particle temperature. The particle velocity and temperature will increase when the injecting diameter decreases. The slope angle has no influence on the particle temperature, but the particle velocity will increase with the slope angle increases. The injection pressure has little influence on the particle velocity and temperature and it is proved that the 0. 4 MPa is the best.
