摘要
This chapter briefly reviews background on the use of lipid bilayer vesicles (LBVs) as cell-membrane models and details the surface-immobilization strategies of such vesicles. It then proceeds to describe recent measurements of supported vesicles, with a study of membrane permeability, and studies of the interaction of membrane permeabilizing proteins with such solid-supported LBVs.
