Advances in underwater sound absorption polymer

The exploitation of newly underwater acoustic material has taken its way toward to compression resistance,wide frequency and high performance.Due to several advantages over other existing materials,including excellent viscoelasticity,sound absorptivity and good processability,polymers are broadly applied to preparation of new sound absorption functional materials.This paper summaries the development and application of underwater acoustic absorption polymer materials in recent years.The main content includes the sound absorption mechanism,materials design,present condition of the development and its application of underwater acoustic polymer.At last,the research focus and direction in future are prospected briefly.
