Improving the Accuracy of English Automatic Segmentation

In this paper we put forward some practical methods to improve the accuracy of English automatic segmentation through selecting parameters, initializing HMM (Hidden Markov Model), modifying mono-phones'model and silence insertion. The effectiveness of the proposed method has been proven through experimental results.
