Effect of proteasome inhibitor MG132 on invasion of colon cancer lovo cells

Objective To observe the effect of small dose of proteasome inhibitor MG132 on invasion of colon cancer lovo cells.Methods The lovo cells were treated with different concentration of MG132 for different time,and MTT method was used to observe the cell inhibiting rate.Two doses of 0.5 μmol/L and 1 μmol/L MG132 for 24 hours were chosed to observe the cell morphology,and invasion ability of lovo cells was detected with transwell assay.Results Small doses of proteasome inhibitor MG132 had no inhibition effect on lovo cell proliferation;the invasion ability of lovo cells had visibly diminished than control groups(P0.5).Conclusion Small doses of proteasome inhibitor MG132 could diminish the invasion ability of lovo cells.
