Research on utilizing shallow water shoreline as deep water shoreline for ports

Shoreline in our country has been increasingly exploited,which forces us to face the problem of deprivation in deep water shoreline.In order to make full use of the shoreline resources,it is essential to study the methods of utilizing shallow water shoreline as deep water shoreline for ports.Based on the features of shoreline and several specific projects in Zhejiang province,this paper makes an exploration on utilizing shallow water shoreline for deep water ports from the aspects of technical and economic feasibility.
