The rearch progress of high pure tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum and niobium industrial analysis in the rare-refractory metal field since 1990 is reviewed, including spectrophotometry, atomic absorption/emission spectrometry, mass spectromety, neutron radioactivation analysis and electrochemistry analysis etc.Fifty documents are quoted. It is proposed that the simultaneous multielement trace analysis, such as mass spectrometry,is the development trend, but single element analysis is still irreplaceable. At the same time, the industry distribution of high pure tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum and niobium analysis is reflected by analyzing the documents in different ways.
