Design of Planar Pulse Transformer for High Voltage

A novel miniaturization planar transformer for high voltage pulse is presented in this paper.Its physical construction and electric parasitic characteristics are also discussed.The transformer made with PCB is of miniature size and high efficiency.Its leakage inductance and Ac resistance are significantly reduced.Some experiences and techniques for designing planar transformer are also presented on the basis of our experiments.The simulation and measurement results have validated this planar transformer model.
