In this study, La 0.6 Sr 0.4 Co 0.2 Fe 0.8 O 3- δ (LSCF) oxygen electrode as well as Gd 0.1 Ce 0.9 O 2- δ (GDC) barrier layer was employed by the screen printing process for both fuel cell and H 2 O/CO 2 co-electrolysis operations. After initial performance evaluation of the cell under SOFC mode, electrochemical measurements of the cell were carried out at 700-800 o C for co-electrolysis mode with 45% H 2 O, 45% CO 2 and 10% H 2 as fed gas. Further, the long-term durability of the cell was examined at a constant current of 0.4 A*cm -2 for over 200 h. It showed that cell voltage held at a steady value after experiencing initial significant fluctuations.
