Interrupted Time Series Design

Abstract Interrupted time series designs are based on repeated measurements before and after the implementation of an intervention. The observations gathered before the intervention establish a baseline that is used to project what would be expected in the absence of intervention. Intervention effects are demonstrated when the observations gathered after the intervention deviate from the expectations derived from the baseline projections.
