Chromium catalyzed acceptorless dehydrogenative (cross)coupling of primary amines to secondary imines

A phosphine and carbene free chromium complex catalyzed acceptorless dehydrogenative coupling of primary amines to secondary aldimines is reported. The reactions are atom-economical, and generate dihydrogen and ammonia as the sole by-products.
