Carbon-dot-modified phloroglucinol–glutaraldehyde resin photocatalysts for hydrogen peroxide production

Carbon dots (CDs) can boost quinoid structure formation in resins. CD-combined PG resins realize the combination of an indirect two-electron oxygen reduction reaction and hole-induced carboxyl group oxidation to generate H 2 O 2 .
