Study on Quality Standard of Qingwei Huanglian Tablets

Objective:To establish quality standard of qingwei huanglian tablets.Method:Radix Scutellariae,Rhizoma Coptidis, Cortex Phellodendri,Radix Glycyrrhizae,Rhizoma Anemarrhenae,Fructus Gardeniae,Radix Paeoniae Rubra in the tablets were identified by TLC;the content of baicalin was determined by HPLC.Result:Radix Scutellariae,Rhizoma Coptidis,Cortex Phellodendri,Radix Glycyrrhizae,Rhizoma Anemarrhenae,Fructus Gardeniae,Radix Paeoniae Rubra could be detected in different TLC conditions.The linear range of baicalin was 0.20-1.60μg(r = 0.999 8).The average recovery was 98.46%with RSD of 2.89%(n = 6).Conclusion: The method is specific and reproducible.It can be used for quality control of qingwei huanglian tablets.
