The effects of Spirulina on Ni bioaccumulation were studied. The equilibration time, the mass ratio of Ni to Spirulina, the concentration of metal ion, illumination time and temperature on the efficiency of Ni bioaccumulation were investigated. The results showed that the equilibration time of Ni bioaccumulation was about 80 minutes, the mass ratio of Ni to Spirulina was 7%, and the optimum pH was 10. The bioaccumulation quantity was also influenced by temperature and illumination intensity. The optimal condition was 35℃ and 3000 lux. The bioaccumulation of nonliving alage was higher than that of living alage.
