摘要
Wastewater appeared all over the world severely influenced the health and well-being of human and the balance of ecosystem. Temptations proposed by scientific field, citizens or government have not shown satisfying result in large-scale treatment or specific usage yet. Electrospun nanofibrous membranes have proven to be the one of the most effective methods in dealing with such situation. The research focuses of wastewater treatment now laid on the effective management of multifunctional electrospun nanofibrous membranes and the all-in-one philosophy, which may significantly save the time and economy investment required. Moreover, the practicability of multifunctional electrospun nanofiber has surpassed the single function electrospun fiber as well as many other materials in comprehensive performance for their flexible and high-efficient properties. Thus, the recent progress of multifunctional electrospun nanofibrous membranes had been detailed discussed in this review. The electrospun was firstly addressed including the technologies and nanofiber preparation methodologies and structures. Then, the recent progress of multifunctional electrospun nanofibrous membranes was highlighted, such as unique or combined properties, oil–water separation performance, on-demand treatment, metal ions/complex compounds/contamination removal and so on. Finally, future perspectives and challenges are provided.
