Chemodivergent alkylation of trifluoromethyl alkenes via photocatalytic coupling with alkanes

-difluoroalkenes and trifluoromethyl alkanes from ubiquitous hydrocarbon feedstocks, including gaseous alkanes. Importantly, chemoselectivity is easily achieved by simple modification of reaction conditions and/or additives.
