, 6.56 times higher than that of horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Moreover, Cu-CDs-300 can effectively lead to CT26 apoptosis by generating much free radicals. This work demonstrates the synergistic effect of oxygen-containing functional groups and metal coordination structures on peroxide-like activity of CDs and provides new ideas for the design of clear active structure and high efficiency peroxide-like single atom CDs catalyst.
