The Development of Study on Liquid-Crystalline Epoxy Resin Containing Ester Mesogen

Combining the advantages of thermoset and order of liquid crystal,liquid crystalline epoxy resin(LCER) is a kind of function material which has potential applications in many fields.Due to relatively easy to synthesis and the convenient structure controllability,the one containing ester mesogen becomes the most important class of LCERs.The synthesis,mesogenic property and curing of LCER containing ester mesogen were introduced in this paper.The advances in the study overseas and the future application of LCER containing ester mesogen were also depicted.
