Clinical characteristics of renal involvement associated with congestive heart failure

[Objective] To analyze the clinical characteristics of renal involvement associated with congestive heart failure. [Methods] Data of 56 cases with congestive heart failure were reviewed. [Result] 86.6% cases were above 40 year old. Renal involvement were found in 3% cases with level Ⅲ of congestive heart failure. 12% cases with level Ⅳ of congestive heart failure had renal involvement. The time of renal involvement were correlated to the time of congestive heart failure. [Conclusions] Renal involvement were found in cases with congestive heart failure, especially in above 40 year old and severe congestive heart failure. Renal involvement were reduced by the function of heart failure improved.
