The article discusses the application of bionics in architectural design from urban environmental bionics,shape bionics,functional bionics,structural bionics and building material bionics,and points out that man should pay attention to organic combination among environmental ecology,economic benefits and novel shape during architectural bionics,in order to promote sustainable development of building industry.
