Determination of Protocatechuic Acid and Protocatechuic Aldehyde in Blumeae ripariae by HLPC

To develop an HPLC method for determination of protocatochuic acid and protocatechuic aldehyde in Diangui'ainaxiang,protocatechuic acid and protocatechuic aldehyde of Blumeae ripariae from six origin were determined by HLPC.The results showed that protocatechuic acid had linear relationship in the range of5.008~25.04μg,protocatechuic aldehydethe had linear relationship in the range of 5.344~26.72μg,the recovery was 98.61% and 98.07% respectively,RSD was 1.44% and 1.99% respectively.
