On the Characteristics of the Geopolitical Pattern in the Arctic Region

Since the end of the Cold War,the Arctic region has gradually become a‘hotspot’of the world politics.The geopolitical dynamics in the Arctic are now changing rapidly.The geopolitical pattern in a geopolitical system is a structural factor that could control development of the geopolitical circumstances.So an analysis of geopolitical pattern is very useful for recognizing and understanding the complex and changing geopolitics.Based on the concept of geopolitical pattern,this paper contributed the principal methods for analysis of geopolitical pattern,and then analyzed the characteristics of the geopolitical pattern in the Arctic region after the Cold War era.
