Objective:To compare the efficacy and side effects of sertraline and clomipramine in the treatment of child obsessive-compulsive disorders.Methods:A total of 61 patients were randomly assigned to two groups.One group were treated with sertraline and the other with clomipramine for 8 weeks.The efficacy was measured with Y-BOCS 、HAMD and HAMA.The side effects were assessed by TESS.Results: There was no significant difference in the efficacy between sertraline and clomipramine.The side effects of sertraline were lower than those of clomipramine.Conclusions: Sertrline is effective and safe drug in the treatment of child obsessive-complusive disorders.
