Modification of acrylate with silicone and it's application in high performance coatings

The modification of acrylate with silicone by physical blending and chemical methods(condensation,free radical polymerization,hydrosilylation and IPN)for recent years were reviewed.The application progress in improving the stain resistance and weather resistance of silicone modified acrylate coatings,preparation of high solid content coatings,waterborne coatings,UV curing coatings and fluorescent paints were introduced and the development of such coatings was prospected.
