Development of Acid Free Pickling Technology for Hot-rolled Strip

Acid free pickling technology is a process to treat the scale produced on the surface of the hot rolled strip without acid pickling.The aim is that the hot-rolled strip can be met for the subsequent use.This paper mainly introduces the kinds and development of the acid free pickling technologies at home and broad,including tight scale technique,smooth clean surface technique,eco-pickled surface technique,hydrogen reduction technique,which shows that acid free pickling technology has a strong potential advantages and prospects for development.It is becoming the replacement of the traditional acid pickling technology.
