Phosphodiesterase inhibitors for erectile dysfunction in patients with diabetes mellitus

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To assess the effect of phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors on the management of erectile dysfunction in diabetic men. Primary objectives will include clinical efficacy as compared with other PDE‐5 inhibitors, other treatment options for erectile dysfunction, placebo or no treatment. Secondary objectives will include comparison of side‐effect profile.
