Effects of Mixture with Various Kinds of Herbs on the Extraction Amount of Ginsenoside $Rb_1$, Rc and Rd in Ginseng Radix

The prescription of traditional Korean medicine is on the basis of the differentiation of syndromes and the establishment of the rapeeutic methods, to pick out proper drugs and organically constitute them in the light of the principles of formain a prescription. In this paper, we chose Ginseng Radix. And we obserbed the effects of mixture with Ginseng Radix in various kinds of herbs on the extraction amount of Ginsenoside , Rc and Rd, one of the saponin compounds in Ginseng Radix. In the mixture of Rehmanniae Radix Preparat, Zingiberis Rhizoma, Glycyrrhizae Radix and Atractylodis Rhizoma, the extracting amount of Ginsenoside , Rc and Rd is more than that of Gingseng Radix itself orderly. On the other hand, in the mixture of Aconiti Radix, Astragali Radix, Angelicae Radix and Poria, the is less than that of Ginseng Rhizoma itself orderly.
