IDENTIFICATION OF SOME CHINESE MEDICINES IN DANGGUI YANGXUE EXTRACTS

OBJECTIVE To establish the identification methods of 6 Chinese medicines in Danggui Yangxue Extracts.METHODS TLC was used to identify 5 Chinese medicines, which were Angelica sinensis, Codonopsis pilosula, Paeonia lactiflora, Rehmannia glutinosa and Glycyrrhiza uralensis and chemical reaction in tubes was used to detect Equus asinus . All the methods established were used to examine the stability of the preparation at accelerated conditions (40℃,RH 75%)at the end of 2, 4 and 6 months.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION The methods were simple, reliable,reproducible,and can be used to control the quality of the 6 chinese medicines in the preparation.
