Study on Indiumiron Separation for the Pressureleaching Solution of Indiumcontaining Zinc Sulfide Concentrate

By using the pressureleaching solution of indiumcontaining zinc sulfide concentrate as raw material,the indiumiron separation process was studied by the method of reducing Fe~(3+),neutralizing,precipitating indium and extracting.The results showed that the reducing rate of Fe3+ was 91.5% for 180 minutes of reducing time at 90°C with the adding quantity of zinc sulfide concentrate 1.8 times as the theoretical need.The precipitating rate of indium reached 94.2% at the final pH 4.5,and the extracting rate of indium was 90% for 5 minutes of extracting time at 25°C.
