Clinical effect of Fuzheng Huayu capsule in treating cirrhosis of liver in the period of decompensation

Objective It is to investigate retrospectively the clinical effect of Fuzheng Huayu capsule in treating cirrhosis of liver in the period of decompensation.Methods 62 patients of cirrhosis of liver in the period of decompensation were divided randomly into therapy group and control group.The therapy group(n=32) based on conventional therapy was treated with Fuzheng Huayu capsule,otherwise the control group(n=30) treated with conventional therapy alone.Results Treated for 12 weeks,The total effective rate of therapy group was higher than that of control group(P0.05).Compared with control group,AST,ALT,GGT,total bilirubin,unconjugated bilirubin and the 4 indexes of hepatic fibrosis of therapy group were lower significantly,Alb was higher significantly(all P0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of cirrhosis of liver in the period of decompensation,Fuzheng Huyu capsule has specific advantages of improving hepatic function,postponing hepatic fibrosis.
