FACTORS INFLUENCING THE THICKENING ABILITY OF POLYACRYLIC ACID SALT (PAAS)

Factors influencing the thickening ability of PAAS thickening agent was researched, the thixotropic factor and thickening ability of aqueous PAAS thickening agent increased with increase of emulsifier, decreased with increase of reaction humidity, and first increased with increase of initiator, reached the maximum when the dosage of initiator is 2‰, and then began to decline.
